Steampunk necklace with pocket watch and hummingbird SN102

Steampunk vintage style necklace ~

This one-off design necklace features a vintage style pocket watch which sadly is no longer working as its movement is missing! However, I have repurposed it into a pretty necklace and attached a brass hummingbird to the watch face, hiding the lack of hands. I used thick jeweller's wire to wrap and create a loop in the top of the watch setting and threaded an 18 inch (46cm) gold plated chain through. The back and sides of the watch case have an attractive floral design - too pretty to discard just because it doesn't tell the time!

The watch case is approximately 30mm in diameter.
